Randall Kaplan is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, executive coach, and best-selling author. He is the founder and CEO of JUMP Investors, a venture capital firm and family office that has invested in more than 100 early-to-late-stage companies, including Google, Seagate, and Lyft. He is also a co-founder of Akamai Technologies, an S&P 500 cybersecurity and cloud computing company with a market capitalization of approximately $16 billion that serves nearly 30% of the world’s web traffic, generated $4.2 billion in 2025 revenue, and employs more than 11,000 people.

As an executive coach, Randall uses his Extreme Preparation® methodology to work one-on-one with founders, executives, business owners, and ambitious professionals to improve strategy, communication, decision-making, and execution.
